Annual Training Conference Registration Discounts
Each year the WCPA hosts a Winter and Summer Training Conference and Expo through its Wisconsin Police Leadership Foundation (WPLF). The training element of these conferences include presentations on contemporary topics and trends affecting Wisconsin’s law enforcement leaders. Conference training hours can be applied toward annual training requirements mandated by the Wisconsin DOJ’s Training & Standards Bureau.
In addition to providing our members with important information and insight to support ongoing personal and departmental success, WPLF Training Conferences feature Host Chief’s Night and other opportunities for members to network with Wisconsin's law enforcement leaders and over 150 technology and service providers.

Legislative Advocacy, Representation, and Updates
The WCPA assists its members by actively participating in the Wisconsin legislative process, through the actions of its elected officers, lobbyists and legislative committee members. The WCPA advocates for legislation which will advance our profession while we vigorously oppose harmful legislation. Members of the WCPA and our lobbyist have spent years developing relationships with Wisconsin legislative leaders which can be leverage for legislative victories.
Members Only Website and Community Forum Access*
The secure and password protected “Members Only” section of our website offers WCPA members a variety of online resources including comprehensive membership directory, membership profile and renewal management and a community forum. The community forum allows members to post discussion topics, share files, read and respond to other topics and messages written by other members.

Job Board
The WCPA Job Board provides an opportunity for agencies seeking quickly connect with qualified job candidates. Members receive up to 50% discount on job listing rates and can post their resume for no charge. There is also an option to have the posting emailed to every member of the WCPA. Members can peruse and respond to job posts for free.
Public Safety Testing Services
Since 2001, Standard & Associates and the WCPA have partnered and collaborated together to provide off-the-shelf exams to help Wisconsin law enforcement agencies improve their hiring and selection processes at discounted rate. Through this partnership over 200 agencies in Wisconsin have used entry level, promotional, dispatcher and detective/investigator exams furnished by Stanard & Associates.
